Internships

The Tech Ed Committee provides up to four internships annually, depending on needs. A commitment of at least one calendar year from the date of acceptance is required. Interns support a variety of functions, including Fall Merit Badge workshops, Winter TechFest, Science Fair judging, and year-round Barn Gangs.

 

Attendance at Tech Ed events is mandatory; approximately five events are held per calendar year. Absences are excused on a case-by-case basis. Remote volunteering opportunities are available on a limited basis.

Internship benefits:

  • A $500 annual stipend

  • Mentorship with an experienced Club member in a relevant field

  • A letter of recommendation from the Chair upon successful completion

  • Community networking

  • Opportunities to practice public speaking and community outreach

  • A one-year Club membership

  • Club polo

 

Applications are considered on a rolling basis and are reviewed and approved by the Tech Ed Committee.
